The Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association welcomes the participants in our 16th Annual Blue Ridge Writers' Conference.
A Meet & Greet Reception will take place Friday, April 5, 2013 in the Richard Low Evans Gallery at the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association, 420 West Main Street, Blue Ridge, GA 30513 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This event is open to the public and allows for a "meet & greet" with the conference speakers, the conference attendees, and the community. In an effort to promote the literary pursuits of the poets and writers in our community, our Annual Blue Ridge Writers' Conference will provide an opportunity for participating authors to interact with the public.
If you are an Author and have registered for the conference, you may set up a table on the second floor of the Art Center to sell your own books on Friday evening during the reception. Please email the Art Center no later than March 15th at blueridgearts@gmail.com to pre-register for a space. You must be set-up by Friday afternoon at 3:00pm and provide your own display equipment (i.e., table, chair, etc.). On Saturday, bookseller Linda Ray from the Curiosity Shop Bookstore will sell your books from 8:00am to 3:00pm in the Art Center lobby for a 10% commission.
If you would like to submit bookmarks or postcards about your books for the Writers’ Conference welcome bags, please provide all items to the Art Center no later than March 15th.
